Double Dose in Popgun 4 Book!!
A while back I had the great pleasure to meet fans favorite Writer Todd Dezago! The result was a six pages story, titled “Fables from Fractured Earth”. It was based on an idea of mine, Scripted by Todd, the Lay-outs/Breakdowns and Colors were accomplished by me (Mike Toris did the flat colors, helping me out) and Vassilis Gogtzilas inked it, with his unique style.
This story is going to be published in the pages of Image Comics’ Popgun 4 anthology book, coming out on February ‘10.
It was an honor to work with Todd Dezago, a great fun mixing styles with Gogtzilas and a good opportunity to have my work out there, once again. You see, my first work as a Colorist was published in the pages of Popgun 2 book (I colored Gogtzilas’ “Mr. Universe” first appearance). This lead to my coloring Erik Larsen’s “The Savage Dragon” on-going title, which also lead to my coloring the “Image United” project! (This is going to be my next post)
There’s more. I have a second appearance in this Popgun 4 book. Once again, I’m coloring Gogtzilas’ newest Mr. Universe story, called “Broken Hearts”! So you’ll see me not only doing the lay-outs/breakdowns in one story, but have me coloring another one as well! :)

Main dish would be a few final pages, (lettered by Thomas Mauer, btw) and as a dessert, you could have a few more colored “Broken Hearts”!
